IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It’s important for everyone who participates in the float down to understand the
following rules. We want you to be safe and have a good time. Please do the right
thing so everyone can continue to enjoy this event for years to come.

- Each person who participates in the float down is responsible for their own safety.
- Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Life jackets are required for each person to participate.
- Underage drinking is not allowed. 21 is the legal drinking age in Michigan. And you
must have valid identification to prove it.
- No trespassing on private property. Getting out of the water on to private property
without the owners prior consent is not allowed.
- No littering . Bring with you what you want, but leave with what you brought.
- Do not park in no parking zones, block streets, driveways, or fire hydrants. If you
do your vehicle will be towed at your expense.
- All participants must stay out of the shipping channel . More information on this

- Last but not least , watch out for your fellow floaters. Lets make this event safe
and enjoyable for everyone.
